Brazil’s global identity has always carried something bigger than football.

Across Rio, football exists in the middle of everyday life. On beaches, on concrete courts between neighbourhoods, and in the hills overlooking the city. Places shaped by grit, resilience, samba, movement, and a carefree energy as much as trophies or stadiums.

Courts of Rio was created as a celebration of the city and the neighbourhoods where it all started for so many.

Every element of the artwork was designed to reflect the culture behind it. The stacked neighbourhoods climbing through the hills, the courts built into the centre of communities, the energy, density and expression that helped shape a football identity recognised across the world.
